Dorozhnoe radio
Musical-informational radio station “Dorozhnoe Radio” (Road radio) is a unique Russian project for covering large territories by FM program. During 11 years of its existence radio coverage area spread out from a single small town Kirishi near St. Petersburg to a federal scale territory. Nowadays Dorozhnoe Radio could be heard not only in big towns of various regions of Russia, but in South part of Finland, East part of Estonia as well. Moscow surroundings are covered by the signal since 2008. In total Dorozhnoe Radio is working in more than 600 Russian towns.

More than 120 automatic rebroadcasting stations are working in full automated mode and are not using expensive satellite delivery channels. They are getting program content by Distributed Data Base technology, providing unique possibilities:
- individual programming of every regional schedule (mostly local news and commercials, but musical part could be also locally defined);
- scalability and flexibility of net radio;
- effective control over sales of commercials.
DIGISPOT® II DDB provides sub-regional structuring of radio network, subordinating to a corresponding regional center. That gives opportunity to regional partners of the Dorozhnoe Radio to develop their own “nodes” of radio net in their regions. The listed factors together with correctly chosen musical format and high quality musical programming provided good ratings of Dorozhnoe Radio as one of the biggest commercial net radios in Russia.
